Babies don’t come with a manual (wouldn’t it be easier if they did!) and no one realizes how tired they’ll be after having so little sleep but still having to function the next day while looking after a newborn! That is where meeting other parents and talking things through can help so much—even if it’s just to know you aren’t going through it alone. So many times I’ve heard parents say, “I didn’t know how I was going to get out of the house today, but I’m so pleased I did.” The energy, friendliness, and spending time bonding with your baby in class can make you feel happy and energized. Coming to class isn’t always easy for every parent, and it can be very nerve-wracking to step into a hall with lots of other parents; I remember that feeling myself. However, we are there to welcome you, to show you the ropes, and help you relax as quickly as you can. Then you can focus on spending quality time with your baby and enjoying your time together.

I spent many years delivering the Baby Explorers classes to thousands of families myself, but I’m now so lucky to have an amazing team working with me who are there to meet and welcome you to class every week. I now spend my busy week visiting the different venues, preparing all the “behind the scenes” props and adventures for your next class, and sitting at my computer working my way through all the admin! I still strive to provide as personal a service as I can.

It is a huge privilege and such a joy to be part of a baby’s first year of life and watching how they grow and reach new milestones. We are so incredibly lucky to watch many babies coming from as little as two weeks old right through to watching them toddle around the room!

We hope more than anything that you enjoy your time with us and can take away new friendships, magical memories, and loads of photos (some that I’m sure can make an appearance on their 18th birthday card!).
